The Lucky Dutch "What Do I Mean to You" Live @ Double Door 3-3-12 [HD]

The Lucky Dutch is an American roots-rock band from Illinois, formed in 2008 in Chicago by guitarist Nathan Graham and singer Claire Corriveau. They began their career as an indie band, performing extensively around Chicago’s bar and festival scene. In 2014, they released their first full length record, Bury the Night. In the past two years, they have toured extensively and performed with Marc Brussard, Jackson Mudd and Marc Ford of the Black Crowes.

The Lucky Dutch’s second album Cadillac Coffin was released in 2016. The album is centered around that moment at a crossroads, trapped in the space between paths. Written over the course of a tumultuous year, they dug deep into feelings of anxiety and indecision to reveal the distance between clarity of direction and uncertainty of action. Vulnerable ballads “Good Honest Man” and “Runaway” balance with heavy hitters “My Way” and “The Walk” to evoke the feeling of a knife’s edge underfoot.
