Hayden is a native of Texas who currently resides in Lubbock, which he is proud to call home. Hayden began writing and playing his own music in his early twenties, playing acoustic gigs whenever he got the chance and has now put together a very talented group of musicians to travel from show to show. He contributes his love for music to a songs' ability to capture the hearts' emotions, and share them with whomever will listen.
As a writer Hayden puts into words pieces of his life, as well as others' in hopes that the listener can somehow relate. The composition of his music has a very distinct West Texas originality that he contributes to living in such a wide open, beautiful part of Texas. His biggest influences come from the “poet style” writers such as Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Townes Van Zandt just to name a few.
Hayden's debut album (self titled Hayden Huse) had a single “After Tonight” that was released to Texas radio and did very well. His new album (Clairemont Jail) is set to be released in mid May and has already had a single be released off of it "Hearts Were Born to Fall" which is currently climbing the charts. Both albums were produced by Alan Crossland of Acuff, Tx. Alan has recorded the likes of Pat Green, Natalie Maines, Doug Smith, Carey Swinney, Jake Kellen and William Clark Green.
